Royal Bluff Orchard was developed in 1982 with the purchase of 70 acres of undeveloped farm land. The management team acquired and planted Granny Smith apple trees, and has farmed them successfully since then.

A key to our success has been the management and operations team that has worked together for almost twenty-five years, resulting in a well respected and profitable orchard operation.

Since the first harvest, the orchard has experienced consistent yields of high-quality fruit, and produced an average of 70 bins to the acre annually.

Royal Bluff Orchard is located in the Columbia River Basin approximately three miles southwest of Royal City, Washington, on a gentle sloping hillside facing the southeast called the “Royal Slope.” This location is well-suited for the cultivation of tree fruits.

The Orchard is located within the Columbia Basin Growing Area (as defined by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and as reported by the Washington Growers Clearing House Association, 2011), which leads the state in Granny Smith production.
